Yes — landlords create a free account, add their property, and invite you by email. The whole process takes under 2 minutes.
Late payments are recorded as LATE status. You won't earn tokens for that month, but your payment history is still tracked so you can show improvement over time.
Tokens are earned on every on-time payment (50 per payment). Spend them at partner businesses using your digital MAKA card — in-store via NFC or online via QR code.
PayPhone and PayPal payments are nearly instant. Card and ACH payments take 1–3 business days depending on the method.
All payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal, or PayPhone — bank-level encrypted and PCI-compliant. MAKA never stores your card or bank details.
Creating an account is free. MAKA charges a 1% platform fee on each payment transaction, clearly shown before you confirm any payment.
